TRAGEDY: A 17-year-old boy who fell approximately 35 meters while rappelling at Keshet Cave in northern Israel was found without signs of life following a complex rescue operation.
Fire and rescue crews, the Galil-Carmel Rescue Unit, police and an IDF Unit 669 helicopter rescue team were dispatched to the scene. ZAKA later said medical teams were forced to confirm the boy’s death.
