Nepal has issued new flood warnings as rescue and recovery efforts continue following catastrophic flooding along the Nepal-China border. At least 788 people have been killed in Nepal and another 16 in China, while more than 3,000 people remain missing across the two countries.

Authorities warned residents in several flood-hit districts to remain on high alert as water levels rose again, while damaged roads, bridges and power infrastructure continue to hamper access to affected communities.
