Dozens of Chareidi protesters gathered Wednesday night near the home of Israel Police Traffic Division chief Maj. Gen. Chaim Shmueli in Jerusalem’s Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood, protesting the arrests of Chareidi draft evaders.
Around 30–40 protesters attempted to reach the home from several directions, prompting a large police and Yasam presence at the scene. The protest dispersed a short time later without further incident.
