Nepalese authorities announced Wednesday that at least 1,114 people have been confirmed dead following the catastrophic flooding that struck the country last week, with nearly 4,000 people still missing.

Rescue teams from India, China and the United States are assisting in the search, as hopes of finding additional survivors continue to fade.
