Uber will eliminate approximately 3,300 jobs — about 10% of its global workforce — in its largest round of layoffs since the COVID-19 pandemic, Bloomberg reports.
CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the restructuring is aimed at reducing management layers, speeding up decisions and simplifying the company. Uber is also limiting fully remote jobs and investing heavily to position itself for the growth of robotaxis.
