CNN, MS NOW and Politico are asking a federal court to keep their White House access in place while they challenge President Trump’s decision to bar the three outlets. Trump imposed the restrictions on September 18 after accusing them of publishing “FAKE NEWS,” The Washington Post reports.
A federal judge subsequently restored their access for 14 days, with that order set to expire October 8. The outlets are now seeking a preliminary injunction that would preserve the same access they had before the ban while the lawsuit moves forward.
