The FBI announced charges against two Louisiana brothers accused of raising thousands of dollars for Hamas through social media and cryptocurrency, allegedly funneling money across international borders to support the terrorist organization.
FBI Director Kash Patel said the bureau “will never forget” Hamas’ horrific October 7, 2023 attack on Israel and will continue working to cut off funding to Hamas terrorists. Patel said the FBI and its partners have disrupted more than 4,000 foreign terrorist organizations and stopped 1,100 alleged terrorist actors in the U.S. and around the world since last year.
