WATCH: Who Are The Bnei Menashe? 50 “Sisters” Joins Girls Town Jerusalem

50 young women belonging to the Bnei Menashe community, immigrants from the far-flung regions of Northeast India, have just arrived at Girls Town Jerusalem.  As GTJ did with Russian children, Iranian children and children from all corners of the world, Girls Town Jerusalem is providing a Home and a future for these youngsters from such totally primitive and poverty-stricken backgrounds.

Rabbi Avraham Y. Stern, Director of Girls Town Jerusalem said, “In all the years that I have devoted my life to Girls Town Jerusalem, I have never seen children come into the Home with just the clothes on their backs and not a stitch more.”  GTJ is reaffirming its original mandate. They are undertaking this mission of providing the opportunity for these girls to acclimate and flourish as well-adjusted citizens of Israel.

The transformational work of Girls Town Jerusalem is legendary.  YOU are key to making this mission a success.  Please open your hearts, especially now before Rosh Hashana.  Donate directly online at
