Yeshivat Chedvas Hatorah Is Opening a Chizuk Yeshiva on the Dutch Island of Texel

With the guidance and encouragement of Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, shlita, and with the brocha of Rav Moshe Sternbuch, shlita, Rosh Yeshiva Rav Mordechai Frankenhuis is pleased to announce the opening of a unique Chizuk Yeshiva for English-speaking bochurim.

A Three-Month Program of Chizuk and Growth

A number of years ago, this Chizuk Yeshiva in Texel was successfully established for Israeli bochurim. The program was very successful and provided the bochurim with a meaningful opportunity for growth in Torah and Avodas Hashem. Due to the current situation and the difficulty for Israeli bochurim to leave the country because of their army obligations, the yeshiva is now opening its doors to serious English-speaking bochurim.

The Chizuk Yeshiva offers a three-month program for serious English-speaking bochurim over the age of twenty who are looking for an opportunity to strengthen their learning, deepen their connection to Torah, and devote themselves to Avodas Hashem.

The yeshiva program consists of three sedorim each day, providing a structured and meaningful daily schedule centered around limud haTorah.

There are three groups throughout the year:

  • First group: Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan until Rosh Chodesh Shevat
  • Second group: Rosh Chodesh Shevat until Rosh Chodesh Nisan
  • Third group: Rosh Chodesh Iyar until Rosh Chodesh Av

The year after the Yeshive is starting again the program from Elul

For bochurim who hold a European passport, there is an option to remain for a longer period.

THE ISLAND OF TEXEL

Texel, the largest of the Dutch Wadden Islands, lies off the northern coast of Holland, just a 20-minute ferry ride from the mainland.

Its small, close-knit villages create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, with fresh air and a relaxed pace of life. Rolling dunes and vast green meadows stretch across the island, while bicycles are a major means of transportation.

Texel offers a rare opportunity to step away from the noise, pressures, and distractions of modern life and to refocus on limud haTorah and Avodas Hashem.

A UNIQUE YESHIVA SETTING

The yeshiva is situated in a peaceful forest surrounded by nature, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an old-fashioned European shtetl yeshiva of a hundred years ago.

The campus includes a Beis Midrash with a well-stocked library, a dining room, and comfortable bungalow accommodations

The food and gashmius are maintained to a high standard, allowing the bochurim to focus fully on their learning and spiritual growth.
