An additional, final opportunity- it happened on leil Rosh HaShana; it will happen again before Kol Nidrei
In Kiryat HaYeshiva in Beit Shemesh, Maran Posek HaDor shlit”a will, together with the Dayanim on his Beis Din, clearly decree with the power of the Torah which was given to him as the Posek HaDor for the donors to the ‘Likras Kallah fund’ of Kupat Ha’ir that they should be blessed with good news within six months* After Yom Kippur he and his Beis Din will sign the ‘Besoros Tovos Certificate’ as a sign and a confirmation
On leil Rosh HaShana thousands already merited it- and for those who delayed or were hesitant one final opportunity is being given at the holy time of Kol Nidrei– the time when Am Yisrael unites with the Ribono shel Olam as they present Him with their requests for the upcoming year. Moshe Ish HaElokim, Posek HaDor, Mara d’Ara d’ Yisrael and Ateres Tifarto, Maran Rabbeinu Moshe Sternbuch shlit”a, after completing his preparations with awe, clothed in white and his face resembling that of a malach HaShem, radiating purity and awe, with join with the Dayanim, bringing with him his one hundred years of Torah, yir’ah, and hora’ah.
He will take the Sefer Torah in his holy hands and say with the fervor of kedusha the following:
“We, the Beis Din shel Matta, decree and daven that HaKadosh Baruch Hu will fulfill, that all those who donate to the Likras Kallah Fund of Kupat Ha’ir the sum we are requesting, and whose names are resting here before us and they will be mentioned now,
Should be blessed with good news within six months of the time they are pledging the donation,
And we are requesting that HaKadosh Baruch Hu will hear our cries and will fulfill our words to the donors.”
We hear it but can’t believe it- it’s not a general beracha; it’s a decree of the Beis Din shel Matta with a limited timeline: six months from the moment the donation is pledged. And as if this wasn’t enough, on motzai Yom Kippur the Beis Din of Maran shlit”a will sign the ‘Besoros Tovos Certificate’ as a sign and a confirmation that the donors should merit to have good news within six months. Each donor will be able to receive his certificate directly.
Single men and women who are awaiting a yeshua, families awaiting a simcha, Yidden who are carrying in their hearts a request which has not been answered for years, are now facing a window of opportunity for a very short time- this window is closing tomorrow. The names which come on time will be laid before Maran shlit”a and will be mentioned by him at the greatest hour of the year. The names that arrive late will not be there.
Kupat Ha’ir emphasizes that the ‘Likras Kallah Fund’ is intended to bring Jewish kallahs under the chuppah, and every donation received is recorded and receives all due merit. Whoever understands the meaning of this tefillah event will not wait for the last minute.
