Rav Yonasan Binyomin Weiss will be appointed to the position of Av Beis Din of Montreal, at a function this evening, taking place at the Vaad Ha’ir of Montreal. The function will be attended by leading Rabbonim and Baalei Batim of the entire Montreal community. Rav Yonasan Binyomin Weiss replaces the late Chief Rabbi Avrohom Dovid Niznik zt”l, who was recently niftar, and who Rav Weiss had the zechus of working closely with, over the past year. Dayan A. D. Dunner, Dayan of Kedassia Beis Din of London, will be the guest speaker at this affair.
