In addition to the IDF soldier killed by rocket fire on Tuesday, 6 Kislev 5773, a civilian employee of the Defense Ministry was killed as well.

The victim was a member of Israel’s Bedouin community, Elian Salam Id Alanbary, who was struck by a rocket in the Eshkol Regional Council near the Gaza border. He was working in the area during the attack. He was married and is survived by three children.
