    What about you did your classmates or family used to make fun of as a kid? This is a free therapy session (save at least $600 a month!) to unload your (mini) traumas….

    I’ll start:

    I used to bring herring spread sandwiches to school, and the kids were like “ew!!!!! You LIKE it????” holding their noses and inching away….

    I actually did like herring… (sniffle)

    A little off-topic, but related: I once had herring spread on a cracker when I was little. It was at a kiddush, and I thought it was whitefish. I literally spit it out on the floor.

    There it is. Therapize me…

    I used to do that!

    Were you in my class?

    The other kids used to bully me for being more intelligent and knowing more. THe teachers were also jealous, so they ignored it.

    #1035833

    Popa, I said I wouldn’t feed you- but in the case that you’re saying the truth I’ll respond…

    I probably wouldn’t have been in your class because in that case they wouldn’t have held their noses cuz it woud have been “the type” if you had it too to hold onto their noses, cuz you aren’t the type of guy people hold onto their noses for even if they wanted to, cuz it’s too scary to do that cuz you might just call them “Moron”.

    Anyhow, my school wasn’t co-ed.

    You don’t need to feed me. You haven’t seen enough to notice yet, but I feed myself.

    “WHAAAAAAT!!!! You don’t like MANGO?!? How can you NOT like mango?!? EVERYONE loves mango!!!!” Well, I’m not everyone. I’m me. And I still don’t like mango, despite the fact that “everyone” loves it…..

    I’m just curious why people like pba and other ultra coffee room addicts here can afford to be here so much of their life? what do you do for a life? answer threads all day?

    #1035837

    What traumatized me as a child was an experience of falling on the stairs of an escalator while it was moving. although it was only a fright. no injury.

    and living through a ride through a car wash. that was terrifying. I still don’t get why my folks dafka went through when I was with them in the car.

    ARFWS – i loooooooved car washes – they were like the treat of the century! Though I can see why you would be scared. I do other stuff during the day/night, and in between I post. Also, at like 3am, I think “What should I do now? I know. I’ll see if anyone replied on the CR.” If they did, then I post. Ditto for 4am. (I can survive on 4 hrs sleep a night)

    #1035839

    are you a psychopath? psychopaths are known for surviving on very little sleep.

    #1035842

    Popa, crack a smile at least :). And be nice. ARWSF- you too.

    yes its been almost 3 years since I that post that broke the camel’s back and led to my divorce. Remember? I still and always will appreciate everyone’s support and helpful advice. including taking a photos of my child’s injuries inflicted by her father. because it became useful in court.

    ARWSF,

    I found that thread just yesterday! I was wondering what happened in the end. So happy to hear things are ok now.

    ARWSF, I do glad it’s over for you! May you have an easy life and no more harm or pain. Keep running!

    LG, That is so interesting because I also found it yesterday!

    ARWSF – sorry, I didn’t realize what you meant! I hope I didn’t come across as mean, I haven’t been here too long, and when you said you weren’t married, I thought you meant like me, single. If I offended you, I apologize.

    #1035850

    Divorced people can be single, too! So can widows and widowers. “Single” is not necessarily synonymous with “never married”.

    #1035851

    single=divorced

    married=union of two individuals

    me=still hoping to Hashem

    like what?

    #1035854

    Teachers embarrassing me in front of the whole class, teachers making me feel stupid and teachers verbally saying that I’m stupid and putting me down in any way possible

    ARWSF -“What traumatized me as a child was an experience of falling on the stairs of an escalator while it was moving. although it was only a fright. no injury.”

    I ran up a down-escalator on a date. It was fun.

    “and living through a ride through a car wash. that was terrifying.”

    Sounds like fun to me!

    A near-drowning experience, gave me a lifelong fear of the water, though I can swim.

    oomis – I also nearly drowned once! But thankfully I still love swimming so I don’t really consider that a childhood trauma 🙂 I have to agree with wannabechassidish – my biggest childhood trauma was coz of a teacher :'(

    Well, for all we know, Popa could be on YWN’s payroll.

    I don’t have much of a life…

    always runs with scissors fast:

    yes its been almost 3 years since I that post that broke the camel’s back and led to my divorce. Remember? I still and always will appreciate everyone’s support and helpful advice.

    I’m pretty sure those last two posts are by “ultra coffee room addicts.” 🙂

    Actually, it’s been less than 3 years, according to the time-stamp.

    Randomex – I’m an ultra coffee room addict???? Oh boy I had better watch myself, I’ve only been here about 3 weeks! Yikes :)! Also BTW, you quoted me, but it was actually Letakein Girl who said “ARWSF,

    That would be why she used the lashon “ALMOST” three years 🙂

    Seeing as it wasn’t you I was quoting, I didn’t mean to say that you were a Coffee Room addict. And, of course, you’re right about the “almost.” Looks like I’ve really got to read more carefully…
