(This is not one of those two threads. I’d forgotten about this one.)
(My listing a game in this thread doesn’t mean I think it’s good.)
Mastermind – You’re meant to keep score. It is not possible that
a competent opponent will not find your setup in the space given.
Mille Bornes – Likewise, you’re meant to keep score, and also (possibly?) play in partnerships. (Presumably, this is meant to
balance out the luck which matters a lot in the game.)
Monopoly – The common Free Parking houserule makes the game
longer, which is probably not what you want for Monopoly.
(The game relies on people running out of money to end,
so randomly giving people money works against that.)

Good for you. 🙂
I forgot to mention that the game takes less time when you use the
auction rule, which also slightly improves the game, but not enough
to make it worth playing.

(and time-consuming) to mark your opponent’s shots on your board.
November 24, 2015 3:12 am at 3:12 am #1113525🍫Syag LchochmaParticipantmost games we played were played “wrong”, except that that was the right way to play. We altered games for shabbos use or to be more to our liking and we stuck with those rules.
