Random questions thread is off the page, so I will post here.
How come mods allow off topic questions but not their replies? It is extremely annoying and frustrating to reply to someone's question or accusation and have it deleted for no reason other than that it does not belong in the thread. If it is so off topic, the question should not appear. Once it appears, the answer is decidedly on topic.

I just noticed that a post in the d'var torah thread just went up! It also says it was sent 2 hours ago. That would have been 8:30pm Israel time (now 10:30pm here). Not sure what time it made its way on the site, but it went up while it was still Shabbos in the US.
Do we have a Mod in Israel? the UK? Somewhere else?
Is this a visit by the Mod or is the Mod based in this location?

AOB: I must admit you got me on that one but let me take a crack here...anesthesia is to put someone to sleep so maybe synesthesia is to keep someone awake? I completely made this up on the spot... :)

I was kidding areivim, I was actually talking to one of my friends last night and we were saying how similar a sense of humor we have and we expect the person to take it with a jk at the end (which this time I forgot) when we make comments like that. this is probably gibberish to you though because you dont know me in real life... :) one thing I will accept is the cookie part :p but with the tough, youre way off base

ah, moish my friend- that goes against CR rules and regulations
btw- of the many posts that were deleted, one of them was yelling at a mod for deleting my witty posts and only posting the serious or corny ones. That might explain some of my behavior lately... (if the mod didn't chapp the joke, boing, in the garbage)and seriously- I'm feeling down because I know you're not interested. I don't wanna stuff anything down your throat, yet on the other hand I have so much more... and I really wanna know if you stuck to saying modeh ani. If not, try to start fresh, with renewed vigor and focus. Try to 'un-numb' yourself and WANT to accomplish this
