moish, (and anyone else who wanted to know,) Camp Simcha is for children with cancer and Camp Simcha Special is for children with chronic illnesses.

There are four camp sessions: (This is how it usually works, don't know about this summer.)

1 - July, Week 1-2 Camp Simcha Special Girls
2 - July, Week 3-4 Camp Simcha Girls
3 - August Week 1-2 Camp Simcha Special Boys
4 - August Week 3-3 Camp Simcha Boys

I know that all four camp sessions have staff who do other things around camp, aside for being a counselor; waiter/waitress, vending machines, sports, etc.

I wish I would be able to help someone here get in.

an open book: i know someone that was a mother's helper once there! she started off as a low job, inorder so the next year she could return as a lifeguard or maybe waitress i think! it's really hard to get the good jobs there! and aparaently the vending machine job is real fun, cause you get to drive around all day in a golf card stocking the machines! oh and the vending machine & canteen is all free to everyone there!

72, arent the "higher-ups" in simcha generally public knowledge? If I bothered calling them up and asking, they would tell me probably, I was just curious which one she knew. seems I've been stopped by the humor-less ( ;) ) mod in my tracks.

AOB, I beat you in school stress, you know how many reports I had due this week? the sleep part I cant relate to and for the rest of it, I hope everything brightens up for you really soon. I had a day (sounds like what you're describing) a few months ago (I remember because I first became "friends" with ames then, she had a hard day and I told her mine was worse) best I could tell you is keep smiling, and remember Hashem is with you as hard as it seems. I sincerely hope tomorrow is much better. :) if you need me, I'm still here but I hope it'll only be happy shmoozing.
