What’s behind some good usernames (for example mine ovcourse) and some usernames that arnt so very top of the mill for example I saw some people just have numbers (I’m not complaining on those people at all I’m just making a thread out of nothing because I am so bored yes you’ve probably realized that by now) and some some very clever and thought out usernames like Ywn moderator for example but yes some people must put a lot of effort into their usernames (I don’t know who I’m just saying) so guys what’s your opinion on the subject?
A username says a lot about the poster, almost as much as a subtitle, and it’s important to pick a good one.

I think I remember notasheep saying that her name symbolizes her independent thinking- she doesn’t mindlessly wander about, or something like that.
It’s such a creative name! Perfect for her.
What does “the-art-of-moi” mean? (btw that’s my fave UN; it has such a cool ring to it 🙂 )
I also love “SayIDidIt” those two names are really cute and original!

What does my username say about me?
I always think of “Gamanit” as “?? ????”, with ???? being ???? ???? for ???. (I know it really isn’t)

Randomex, does your name mean you used to be random but aren’t anymore? And what’s pshat in ur subtitle? I googled it so I chap sort of, but what gave u the idea?

Heh. Notasheep actually used to have the subtitle “with a spleen.”
(SWaS predates Notasheep by several years.)

My name was created in tribute to Jon Schweppe’s online handle and the comics character Fantomex (this was a loooooong time ago).
I think it serves me well, and I enjoy both the American and British meanings of “random.”
NEW: Schweppe’s handle was/is “Rand0m,” and I was reading him on Pokemon, and Fantomex is from Marvel Comics’ X-Men franchise.
As for my subtitle, it’ll probably be a while ’til I get around to
expressing it as eloquently as I’d like, but anyone who wants to can Google away. I’ll even help out with some “fanclub bonus content” – the text of Randomex’s subtitle change request!

While “Memberex” was a nice gesture, it’s a little understated.
May I request the following subtitle (I do love duality…) ?
Emerald Sword in one hand, Occam’s Razor in the other.
They were nice enough to oblige immediately.

“Minus zero” is zero. (0-0 = 0)

I had/have the problem too, or even more so, believe it or not. I got blocked, banned, screamed at, and etc. more times that you care to know. My posts too get deleted, edited or altered, at times seemingly random. See – they’re gonna delete thi<<DELETED>>
