According to Wikipedia, the scientific community doesn’t really believe in it.

The same article also states that in Cameron v Knapp, 137 Misc. 2d 373, 520 N.Y.S.2d 917 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. Co. 1987) the Supreme court rejected graphology as psychological testimony.

no, you can tell the broad parameters of a personality by a person’s handwriting.

the best application of graphology I have ever heard of was my cousin wrote to Ben Gurion in the 1960’s when she was first visitig Israel. She told him she was a graphologist (she was, as an act i the Catskills) and offered to do a reading for the retired prime minister.

He invited her to his cottage on Sde Boker and she got to meet the great man himself, all in exchange for a graphological analysis.

It is not a paranormal concept. It is based on psychology. However, many of those that are into it are also into palm reading, which is a paranormal concept.

The idea behind it is that your personality shows out in all your actions. The way you walk says a lot about you, as does the door, coat hanger, pen color, paper size or seat row, that you choose. Something as open as a handwriting has so much room for your personality to make its path.
