Take it from me… there’s no such thing as too much coffee.
It’s not a joke. Too much coffee can be very dangerous. It is highly insensitive and irresponsible to make such a comment on a website where people can read it who know people who suffered the adverse effects of caffeine overdose.

There actually can be an unpleasant side-effect of too much coffee. Coffee – actually the caffeine – is, among other things, a laxative.
In practical terms that means that some people will experience “the runs” if they consume too much of it in a short period of time.
You know you drink too much coffee…

But I certainly stand by my second statement. This has been going on back and forth for as I can remember. And I can remember a long time. Which means that anyone who either drinks or doesn’t drink coffee can live a long time. (provided no radio commercials (“”discoveries””, “”studies””) prove otherwise)
