Sadly, once again this year there were anti Israel protests at the Israeli day parade by NK. I personally heard children asking why the chassidim or rabbis are yelling at them. The damage is not just sinas chinum. These kids associate the frum look (white shirt and beard) with their teachers, rabbanim and our gedolim. These episodes are destroying emumnas chachamim.
It is horrible, but you’re preaching to the choir. Unfortunately, these protesters don’t care about any of that. It’s quite obvious that there’s nothing we can do to convince them that what they’re doing is wrong.
I was so dismayed to see them as well, and taking up, what appeared to be, an entire block with a giant sign.
What I found almost as bad, though, was the yelling and screaming at them from frum yidden in front of gentile police officers.
It was such a chillul H’.
They (NK) are clearly on the wrong side of the matter, but IMO yelling at them won’t change anything.

Not only wont it change anything, it encourages them to continue doing what they are doing. Missionaries use a similar tactic. When you yell at them they think in their mind, I must be right, I am level headed and those nuts are yelling and screaming. Who wants to be with the nuts. If one chooses to engage them, you must always remain calm.

It is very important for children to learn that what matters is your insides, not your outsides.
Anti Zionists? A few chassidim protesting? Big deal.
The Liberals have be much worse and damaging to Israel. Think of Charlie’s rebbe, George Soros and all the anti Israel activity and media he fungus.
