Why do people feel the need to have more than one screen name on YWN? I did it once, but then I'm like this whole thing is annoynomous anyway so who cares! And, its such a pain logging in and out and going back and forth to the other one and remembering two (or more) passwords. And also how do the mods know?! They are always like "We dont think your new at all so and so. Check your email" in big bold scary letters in the New Members thread.

We think that some of the users are actually just one person using different aliases. Let's see who can guess who is really who?
People may do it because they can present more than one view. The reason I did it was because they stopped posting from one of my screen names so i created a new one.
The mods may be able to figure out if it is created using the same email address, or if you stop using one right after creating another, and there may be posts that were not posted that gave them clues to who already has a screen name (such as answering for thier other screen names or trying to get an exact copy of one post through by using the other screen name to post it too).

Actually, there are only 2 people who post on YW. One is you; the other is a guy named Joseph. All the other screen names are duplicates.

Squeak, don't worry about breaking the fourth wall. Between lavud, dofen akumah, and tzuras hapesach, the gedarim of the YWN coffee room are still intact. Besides, drama has long moved past the point where the 4th wall is still sacrosanct.

It was just my mistake that I used the same computer without checking to see that I was logged in as squeak. I just assumed that if anyone using the machine was logged in to YW, it was me.

For all those wondering, I consider myself a little more frum than the "pro-freikeit" people. I won't mention any names but I do not post kfira like some posters do. But, I was once accused of being one of them by jent1150 (who included Pashuteh Yid in the list). I am not as "radical" as jent1150, The Big One, or even Jospeh; rather, I consider myself in the camp of Pashuteh Yid, tzippi, Jothar, etc.
