A MIB stated in a different thread that DY was blocked “for making screennames that mimic other peoples”. I would like to disagree and testify, that DY had no evil intentions in doing so, as to a previous time he did so, which involved me in it. but I agree everyone should be unblocked and have a fresh chance, blocking should be used as a warning or something, maybe with like a 3 strikes and ur out etc

As I’ve pointed out in the past, and I know you remember it, r-b, the way the site is programmed leaves the possibility of malicious copying of user names. While I know that I had no such intent, and I strongly hinted that I was not the real pba in my offending post, (I mentioned that I’m not mildly retarded, referring to the fact that under the name popa_bar_abba it said “member” as opposed to his subtitle), I may not have been 100% clear. I have no problem with the moderator taking the safe route.
So, whichever moderator is empowered to unblock my regular account, I ask you to please do so, with the understanding that I meant no harm, but apologize for what I did and assure you that it won’t happen again. And, BTW, thanks for leaving this account open and allowing me to post with it.
Unblocked. You will be held to this pledge. We are aware of the weaknesses in the software, and exploiting them is not ok.

DY: They know there is a hole. If they don’t plug it, that’s their fault. I’m surprised it hasn’t been used maliciously before.
They could unblock you and just ‘punish’ you by giving you a sub-title. Then, at least with that SN, you couldn’t disguise yourself! 🙂

Now that I’m unblocked, I need ideas on how to get blocked again so I can catch up.

I just decided to no longer take part in any I-don’t-know-the-whole-story-but-I’ll-complain-anyway campaigns. DaasYochid I’m with both BSD and syag on this. I was hoping this would not develop into another AYC saga and WAS really upset to see you blocked. However I was convinced that this would be a temporary block due to your previous posting history and nature, and I’m glad that I was right. So dont be naughty now and be a good boy. For our sakes.
