Or should they just get all their water from eating leaves like koalas do?

Well, if they can be shipped off to die against their will at the behest of a government/commander-in-chief, then yes.

Unless they are koalas, of course.

Young babies have to drink. They don’t have teeth.

In my day, we saw children walking around with a bottle in their hands. That was replaced by a liquid free pacifier, so the kid was not even being hydrated. We have now come full circle. The average adult is walking around with a bottle.

When I was a young man, the drinking age was 18 and the voting age was 21. The Country was better off

It certainly doesn’t make sense that one is old enough to vote, get married, or be a soldier before reaching the age that can buy alcohol.

You can get married at 16 in virtually any State. In New York you can get married at 14.

“You can get married at 16 in virtually any State. In New York you can get married at 14.”

Only with the consent of your parents and a judge. Nowhere today in the United States can one get married without parental consent under the age of 18.

    ZD,

you said “You cannot get married in NY at 14. 16 is the youngest” Wrong. And it is easily verifiable by a 2 second search on Google.

” its not against the law to give your 10 year old son wine ” I am sure that if this corrupt justice system wanted to get someone, they would use this to put someone into Jail and possibly prison as well.

Getting a judge of the New York Supreme court or a Family court judge to allow a 14 or 15 year old to marry is next to impossible

Next to impossible, but not illegal.

“Getting a judge of the New York Supreme court or a Family court judge to allow a 14 or 15 year old to marry is next to impossible “

Which is not what you said earlier. You should have said that you were wrong, but it is very difficult. Which was not the issue anyway.

What the government would really want to do is ban alcohol altogether it’s too late to do that now(prohibition proved that) so they make it ilegal for under 21s hoping that if you don’t experiment as a teen you never will. It doesn’t work of course!

<em.Should under 21 be allowed to drink? I shall rephrase the question:- Should over 21 be allowed to drink? Plenty adults get high on alcohol, and get into lethal DWI accidents.

Even the late Richard Matt:- It was alcohol which did him in, in the end, as he was no longer in control of his faculties, so was heard when coughing, and then his reflexes didn’t respond fast enough to drop his gun, and hence was fatally shot thrice in his head.

& if we are allowing alcohol to adults, why not drugs? Legalizing drugs would cut out many shootings and crime, as it would considerably lower the price of drugs, and it would be the health of these lowlifes at risk, not that of regular people.

    1. Note that the original post is not about alcohol.

    2. Yes I would legalize most drugs.
