I’m still not clear on the differences. Can anyone explain? I’ve heard it to be said that nachlas is just typical jappy and then tehillas is a more academic Verizon and chemdas is a more yeshivish version. Is that true? Applications are due soon and I don’t know where to go!!
Are you planning to (a) apply to all three, (b) choose two to apply to, or (c) apply to one of the above plus one or two other places?
My sister is in 12th grade and applying to seminary. From what she and I have heard, your assessment is pretty accurate. I think that Chemdas is also pretty academic, though- just based on the fact that so many girls who apply there also apply to BJJ. It’s definitely more yeshivish than the other two.
(Tehillas is definitely not an academic Verizon, though:))
Don’t talk on your Verizon line as you drive your jappy to yeshivah.

youre all wrong! tehillas was officially supposed to be more academic, but i dont think it ended up that way. nachlas is definitely not jappy. its actually quite yeshivish. chemdas is not so academic. maybe a bit more than nachlas but not like BJJ.
