On Tuesday, July 23 an indictment was filed against Boaz Albert for violating an administrative order, signed by IDF Central District Command Major-General Nitzan Alon, banning him from entering Yehuda and Shomron. Albert, a resident of Yitzhar, received the order approximately one week previously and has refused to accept it.

The same day the Petah Tikvah Magistrate Court ordered that Albert be released from the order by Thursday, July 25, at which time the court will make a decision on his case.

Albert, an agriculturalist and father of six, declared that he has no intention of honoring the order. According to him the order was issued only because of his public remarks against the policies of the IDF concerning combating terror, and not because of any illegal acts.
