Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has ordered an investigation into statements made by Yachad party candidate Baruch Marzel regarding Arab MK Hanin Zoabi. Marzel�s statements followed an assault against Zoabi during a Ramat Gan election event.

Upon hearing of the attorney general�s actions, Marzel stated �I did not hear the attorney general act so quickly in response to statements by Zoabi, Tibi and Zahalka, who constantly incite against the state and against the IDF�Weinstein must maintain a balance and abandon his discriminatory policies against the right�.
