A baby girl was injured on motzei Shabbos Tisha B’Av by a heavy box that fell on her in her home on Ashlag Street near Rappaport Street in the Beis Yisrael neighborhood of Yerushalayim. She died in Shaare Zedek Medical Center on Monday, 11 Menachem Av. The baby was four-months-old.
Ichud Hatzalah EMT explains “When I arrived on the scene the baby girl was no longer conscious after according to family members, a carton fell on her from above. Together with other Ichud medics they began CPR which was continued by paramedics, who transported her to the hospital in a MDA paramedic unit.
