The way I see it, ;) it happens, when one's opinion is highly valued, and their input is supreme. So although these individuals might
want to hear e/o opinion, once they voice theirs,
they end up with the last word.happens to me all the time. (even when i ask a question ;)) go figure!
My advice, try to change your subtitle to s/t less "Shimshon'esque."
Also stay away from underscores.

me2 - do you know how many threads even [closed] after i spoke - not sure if it's just bad luck, a compliment that i was able to get through before it got really nasty, or just the timing of it all?

The life and demise of a thread is totally unpredictable. I've seen threads grow to 200+ posts and ones that I thouht had real promise fall off the table.
And just when you think you've got it clocked, a dud gets a fluury of posts, while a literary gem gets used to line the hamster cage.

:) i would answer, but i don't want to be the last one on this post - it's kind of like the game where you pass the present around, and then when the music stops, whoever has it is out. (actually, i think in the game, that person gets to unwrap the present, so actually wins. so maybe it's actually good to have the last word. i don't know. what do you think?

No. Why does everyone want to leave? Why can't we instead try to work together and make this a more comfortable happy place to be again? What happened between two years ago and now that all of a sudden this place is literally dead to the point where all people can talk about is how this one is upset with that and the other one is upset with some poster etc etc etc? What has gotten into this place/people? I remember when even joseph not only wasn't an obsessed over topic but was actually conversationable (able to have conversation with). It has really become ridiculous to the point where the only reason I am staying on is something which I hope will work and go through but once it does (yes I am being optimistic), if this place hasn't changed, I will have no more reason to stay on myself. Same goes if C"V it doesn't go through.
