A thread of mine was recently closed. This got me thinking.
In some video games, there are “achievements” that are unlocked
by doing certain things or ending up in certain circumstances.
So, what do you think sh/would be on a list of CR achievements?
I’ll start – in no particular order:
(In all cases, Y is to be assumed significantly larger than X.)
Posting X (and Y, etc.) number of times.
Starting a thread (and X number of threads).
Getting X (and Y) number of responses to a thread.
Bumping an old thread (and bumping a really old thread).
Posting a post of a certain length.
Getting a response from Popa to a thread of yours.
Getting a response from a mod in any context.
Having a post edited.
Having X (and Y) number of posts rejected.
Having a post deleted after being initially approved.
Having one of your threads closed.
Having one of your threads deleted.
Making an “interpreting a post wrongly” joke.
Making an in-joke.
Having your spelling, grammar, or language criticized.
Being trolled.
Being accused of being a troll (and, in olden times, Joseph).
Identifying a troll.
Wrongly identifying a troll.
Getting a subtitle (without asking for one).
Getting a second subtitle.

You may of course, have the honor of listing the achievements.
Having a meaningful, purposeful conversation two posts in a row, without getting sidetracked, threadjacked.
Have people acknowledge that you brought a smile to their face.
Posting on a thread where nobody is talking to each other, just about each other.

Surprisingly, with all that I’ve been accused of, I don’t think anyone ever accused me of being a troll.

Upon further reflection, I realized that my assertion that I have not had a thread of mine deleted is incorrect. I have in fact had a thread deleted. Which also means that my total number of threads started is really 39, not 38.
You have 6 deleted threads for a total of 44.
Are you sure? Because I’m pretty sure I only had one thread deleted.

I’m actually really curious now, because I have no recollection of the other five deleted threads. Can you perhaps tell me what the titles were?
One was about Avraham Avinu, one was called “Coffee Room Rules”, one was called “Response to Ben Levi”, one was called “Vanishing Thread”, and one was called “Moderators Conspiracy”.
Thanks for the clarification. I wasn’t counting those because I assumed that Randomex’s question was if I had had a thread that had been approved and then subsequently deleted, whereas these five were never approved in the first place.
But once you brought them up:
“Coffee Room Rules” “Vanishing Thread” and “Moderator’s Conspiracy” were about why a certain post was getting blocked so I can understand why those threads were not approved (we can’t have people questioning the Moderator’s authority). “Avraham Avinu”, I have no idea what that was about. Can I get a hint, perhaps?
But “Response To Ben Levi” I am disappointed about, because we were having a geshmak debate and then the thread got closed with him having gotten the last word, and I had such a good response to post. Maybe since it’s almost a year later, (and presumably the tensions have died down) you can approve it? Especially considering that most people probably won’t even know what it’s a response to, so no harm will befall them. If you don’t want the debate to restart, you can approve my post and then immediately close the thread.

Patur Aval Assur, it is not always about tensions. Sometimes there are complicated Hashkafa related issues which we are not necessarily equipped to deal with.

Anyway, I can understand that there were hashkafa issues with the “Response to Ben Levi” thread. Was that also the issue with the “Avraham Avinu” thread? Because I still have no recollection of what it was about.

Most belated response to a post. I am baffled when I see someone make a response two minutes ago to something that was last responded to years ago.
