Anyone have any ideas for a hotel or inn near a Jewish area of Baltimore? Maybe close to a shul or even better, something that's actually kosher?

They don't exist; So simply forget about Baltimore, and enjoy a more exciting destination. Baltimore is a miserable place, especially with so many more exciting towns in the North East.

Baltimore is a very creepy & seedy & dangerous place, and I assume that you would wish to enjoy a safe & pleasant & exhilarating vacation & trip, and this is certainly what I would wish you, as no-doubt all members of this coffee room would like to wish you.

Um, I didn't mean is as a destination. Just a stopover. Once again, are there any places to stay over near any jewish community? yeah, and I second yit, you are acting weird.

If I remember correctly there's a Hilton on Reisterstown Road just down the street from Mount Wilson Lane where Ner Yisroel is located. As for near the general Jewish community, I'm not sure.

I also associate Baltimore with creepiness, because of Edgar Allen Poe. But I know it isn't really. ^_^

Incorrigible; semi-retarded; eccentric; perhaps a man; somewhere between mean and average; sometimes only a bit over the top; arbitrarily cynical.

    Avenge the patriotic gore,

If you think Baltimore is creepy, check out Brooklyn. ^_^

147-----you are an idiot for saying that, if you go to EAST BALTIMORE you are right but who goes there??? the frum part of Baltimore is very nice and part of it is very upscale and nice without being too showy. You obviously know NOTHING about Balt....as far as a hotel, there is a Kosher Bed and Breakfast right in middle of the frum comm: it is called Bina's Bed and Breakfast, it is at

justsmile613:- You have 99 days until Yom Kippur, to beg me for Mechiloh, for having declared me an idiot.

Just because you don't seem to agree with my views & experiences about Baltimore, does not give you license to label me as an idiot.
