    So what if I have a rabbit, am I supposed to wear a hat in front of him? It’s probably the most offensive thing to a pet. So no hats for pet rabbit owners.

    How about eating a hot dog in front of a dog?

    How about in front of a dachshund, a “wiener dog”,?

    Hot dogs are not made out of dogs. Dogs eat hot dogs and it is not cannibalism. But it is rude to purposely eat one in front of a dachshund.

    Just remember- if you do have the hat in front of the rabbit, it may become so withdrawn and emotional that it may even retreat inside of the hat to mope. In which case there’s not much to do (if you ever want to wear the hat again) but simply pull it out.

    Preferably in front of a paying audience, accompanied by a few card tricks.
