Anyone know where I can take a photography course on DSLR cameras?
Any Senior Center or Y offering photography?

I’ve become (IMHO) somewhat decent at photography and it was largely through self-learning and lots of reading. There are plenty of photography learning sites (Digital Photography School is pretty good) that have lots of free content dedicated to helping people learn photography.

I am a beginner to digital photography, so I need at the moment a simplified course I guess leaving the Canon 4xi on automatic. I know that you get much better pictures when you set the aperture and shutter speeds, but I am not familiar with doing all this at present. I wouldnt know what to set it on, so by me leaving the camera on automatic, I would avoid the guessing and blury photos.
First I need to learn the operation of the camera, and Iguess eventually I hope to learn more.
Thanks again.
