Yerushalaymers think that they have worked out the real reaon for the snow. If the government behaves as in russia, they will have weather as in russia
I also worked out the real reason for snow – there was moisture in the clouds and it was cold.

But that really has nothing to do with the government’s behavior, now does it?
I don’t pretend to know Hashem’s cheshbonos, but don’t dismiss the possibility that it’s some type of middah k’neged middah just because there is a scientific explanation. Hashem controls nature.
Heavy snow occurs in Yerusalayim once every few years. What may be different now is more people have central heating (without central heat people were used to dressing warmly indoors during winter, and using keroscene space heaters, meaning they weren’t affect by power loss).
If you attribute bad weather to Ha-Shem objecting to some policy, then do you attribute good weather to good policies? That is a problem if you object to the government since Yerusalayim usually has good weather.
If you believe in global warming with the religiousity of many of the left, the snow is a shock, but if you are so foolish to confuse normal weather variance with climate change, you are easy to shock,
Hashem said in Parshas Noach that there will always be seasons. It doesn’t really worry me if they are warmer or colder than usual. We don’t even know what “usual” is supposed to be.

When bad things happen, it’s your fault. When good things happen, I get the credit.
This snowstorm was unusual because there was no electricity for four days including Shabbos! Many people had to stay indoors, with their families, without cellphones, electronic devices, hot water, or refrigerators and ovens. People layered up and huddled together. Many families really reconnected with each other and their neighbors as everyone had to rely on each other. My brother in law had a vacation for the first time in years! People slowed down, slept, many became rejuvenated and appreciative of the blessings in their lives. I hope no one has to suffer for such realizations to happen, but it is really important to just slow down the hectic pace of this century. I think the snowstorm was a gift because it allowed that to happen.
Maybe Hashem was telling the Charedim in J-lem to appreciate and be makir tov to the Israelis. See what happens for four days of no infrastructure, little police activity, MDA delays, no electricity, etc.
