hey, does anyone know if there is a gemach for medical scrubs? If you know how i can get 12 for really cheap that wud b awesum 2 :)

If you need scrubs because of a job or training the place of work usually lends them to you. When I needed it -that's how I got mine.Posted 5 months ago # -
It's hard to find scrubs that are tznius. One solution is to buy scrub pants and add material, sewing it into a skirt. There are scrub skirts available but they tend to have slits and not give a tznius impression.

and torah613, I never had a problem with my scrub skirts. they make plenty without slits. I personally got skirts from Basic Colors for 10$ dollars each. Jews are not the only ones who need modest scrubs.

It depends where you work, someone I know works in a place where they have to wear a certain color.

still not an issue. they make real scrub skirts in MANY colors and sewing up a slit is relatively simple. or go to a seamstress/tailor

In the hospital I work in some girls wear skirt scrubs and some just wear skirts over their scrub pants. From comments I've gotten from patients and co-workers it seems that wearing a skirt over regular pants is a lot less noticeable (thus more tznius) than a scrub skirt.

I recently discovered Uniformadvantage.com. It has long, flared scrub skirts without slits!

go to any conway, value depot type store and they should have them scrub tops for very cheap as well as those white 'scrub-like' skirts for cheap.
