In many areas Shuls have a bulletin board on which signs are hung. In some larger cities there are sign hanging companies that for a fee, go around and hang up posters for businesses on these bulletin boards. May one remove a sign from the bulletin board at any time? Is there any prohibition involved in removing a sign? The advertiser paid the hanging company however does not pay the Shul anything for the privilege of having the sign hanging in the Shul.
It would all depend on the shule’s policies. How do you know the shule doesn’t receive money to display the sign? Maybe the sign hanger has some type of arrangement with the shule.
My opinion. If you are not the Rav or one of the appointed gabboim in the shul it is not your place to remove anything from a public BB. If you believe their is a halachic or hashkafic problem with the content of the sign, speak to the Rav or one of the gabboim.

Sounds like kanaus. Why would you take down someones sign, unless there is a problem halachically with it?
Suppose someone saw a shidduch resume and took it down so the person wouldn’t be embarrassed.

That depends on how many wheels.
That is so strange. Why would someone pay a company when they can do it themselves for free? When I made a tisha b’av camp I just hung up the signs myself and it didn’t cost me a red cent.
If the payment is more like a courier service, so that someone else can do the legwork of putting it up for you, then theoretically it’s the same as though they hung it up themselves. They paid for the person to hang it up, not for the advertising space.
However, I have no idea why you’d want to take down someone else’s sign unless you’re the shul gabbai or something and you need the bulletin board for something else. If you have a problem, hashkafic or otherwise, with the content of the flyer then speak to the rav of the shul or the people who got the flyers put up.
