UBIQ – “which isn’t quite accurate (in the absence of risk factors)”

I can’t teach you current medicine!
    This is current:
“Most authorities recommend doing lipid testing starting at 20 y/o.
If within normal range, most hold to repeat testing every 5 years.”
    This is Universal Testing!
    Look it up!

I completely disagree that “knowing your BP” will prevent serious disease
I’ve made this point on the second amendment arguments
For the most part a persons life span is predetermined
Death comes from a bullet or heart attack
We can put ourselves in danger by dangerous behaviors, but I believe our hishtadlus is limited

    From the CDC&P:
“Why is blood pressure control so important to health?
When your blood pressure is high:
You are 4 times more likely to die from a stroke
You are 3 times more likely to die from heart disease
Even blood pressure that is slightly high can put you at greater risk.”

If you practice Medicine, you seriously aren’t in the Loop!

“For the most part a persons life span is predetermined”

Any person can change that at any time! Ever hear of Suicide?!?
