One can make an argument that we are not real, and the world we inhabit is not real, and we are similar to the “fake” world in the movie the Matrix, or the characters in a “holodrama” in the later versions of Star Trek. And while we characters in the World of Sheker think the world is real, the more clever ones know it isn’t, and what matters is what is happening in the World of Emes, which however, in entangled with the fake world (meaning things we do in the unreal world, have implications in the real world).
However since you claim to be a bird-brain, one can’t discuss this is greater detail.
What difference does it make ?

Suppose we’re not real but we’re actually Ostriches dreaming strange dreams about brains in a jar, how does that affect our daily lives?
Theres many level from a physical person to a total Spiritual angel
1)Human Ruach Hakodesh
2)Human Navi-Prophecy
3)Demons (between humans & angels but not animals)
4)Angels-fully spiritual
many other levels between each of the above to reach a full complete spiritual person free of Physicality of this world (you don’t need to be an Angel to remove physicality from you.
ex.you can have a good steak & it can be pure spiritual with your only intention being to have strength to serve Hashem)
