A group of Muslims arrived at Shar Shechem on Memorial Day afternoon requesting to hold an illegal event in support of striking imprisoned Arab terrorists, a police spokesman reported.

Police officials on the scene declared the event illegal and instructed participants to disperse. A female Arab resident of the eastern capital believed responsible for arranging the event was detained for questioning by police. She will be charged with disorderly conduct and refusing to comply with instructions of police.
