PHOTOS: Levaya Of Mrs. Esther Deri A’H On Friday Afternoon

Mrs. Esther Deri, the mother of Shas party leader Aryeh Deri and Beersheva Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Yehuda Deri Shlita, was niftar on erev Shabbos. The levaya was held before Shabbos in Har Menuchos.

They are sitting shiva in the hall of Beit Knesset Yechavei Daas, 1 Agassi Street in the Har Nof area of the capital.

Among the prominent rabbonim seen at the levaya were; Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef, Chief Rabbi Dovid Lau, and Mekubal Rebi Yechiel Abuchatzera.

Many cabinet members were present as well including Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is a close friend of Deri, and Ministers Bennet, Erdan, Elkin, Azoulai, Cohen, and others. Deputy Minister Porush was also present.
