After a very successful Pre-Pesach Food Distribution, Agudath Israel of Illinois and its KiwiKids program, once again, partnered with Maot Chittim of Chicago, to provide another Pre Yom Tov Distribution on Sunday, September 25th.

The distribution, including wine, grape juice, meat, chicken, honey, baking items and produce helped well over 400 families with their Yom Tov food preparations. The families who participated were effusive in their praise of both the packages themselves and the speed and efficiency with which they were provided. They expressed their appreciation repeatedly to the many volunteers.

After the distribution, Rabbi Yitzchok Bider, Executive Director of Agudath Israel commented, ” Agudath Israel is very happy and proud that we were able to partner with Maot Chittim of Chicago. Between the two organizations many more segments of the greater Chicago Jewish community received greatly appreciated assistance in helping to meet one of Yom Tov’s largest expenses.”
