Rav Avraham Ravitz Hospitalized

ravitz.jpgDegel HaTorah’s Rav Avraham Ravitz was admitted to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Monday after complaining of difficulty breathing. The tzibur is requested to daven for Avraham ben Hadassah.

When MDA medics arrived at 103 Bayit Vegan Street, they were surprised to find Rav Ravitz, who was experiencing shortness of breath. He also appeared to be running a moderate-to-high-fever.

Rav Ravitz does have a medical history including a number of chronic problems known to the public, including hypertension and in the past, he received a kidney from one of his sons.

The family reports he is doing much better and they hope he will be discharged in the next day, perhaps even today.
