A troubling incident occurred in the Kensington area, Sunday afternoon.
Sources tell�BoroParkScoop.com�that the incident started on Sunday morning when two cars parked on Cortelue Road and East 2nd Street had their windows shot out. The NYPD�s 66th Precinct was called and a report was taken for both vehicles.�A third vehicle one East 2nd Street also had some damage to it. Later in the afternoon, an Orthodox man crossing the street at that same corner took either a shot from a BB Gun or a rubber bullet to his leg. Thankfully, he was not seriously hurt, and called NYPD to make a report.
The officers arrived and the victim told police he heard a �popping sound� and then something struck his leg.�He initially refused medical treatment. It wasn�t until later in the day when the man was in terrible pain, that he called Hatzolah and was taken to the hospital. The police arrived at the hospital a took a report for an �investigated aided�.
