When I go to the new website, I’ve been getting a few different messages from my browser indicating that there is some sort of security issue with the site.
At the login page, there is a warning that logging in may not be secure.
Also, near the address field on my firefox field, the Lock icon has a red line across it, which means the connection is not secure, and logins can be compromised, Does anyone know what that means exactly?I never saw this before the site was upgraded.

“In upcoming releases, Firefox will show an in-context message when a user clicks into a username or password field on a page that doesn’t use HTTPS. That message will show the same grey lock icon with red strike-through, accompanied by a similar message, “This connection is not secure. Logins entered here could be compromised.”
This site uses http, not https.

Thank you!

Are there any ramifications for me as a poster?Do you know what can be compromised?

Of course if you use the same username/password here as on other sites, e.g. an online banking site, which is generally a really bad thing to do, your account on those sites could be hacked.
