It’s cats who planted the message that a house is not a home without a cat.
Same reason there are cats in the Catskills and the ark is found in Boro Park. So the children should ask.
That was not the picture I posted, although the two are somewhat similar.
The actual meaning of “Catskill” is not known, but it is said by some to be from the bobcats or catamounts that were at the creek.
