    Apparently this has been going on for years, but I think it’s inappropriate.

    Yes, it is absolutely tzniusdik and appropriate for women to measure girls hair to insure its length is tzniusdik by not being overly long.

    Great, dont send your daughters to this school.

    Those who do, either feel it is appropriate, or dont feel it is enough of an issue to make a big deal out of it.

    Any parent who thinks it is inappropriate and continues to send their daughter to this school is a fool and if they speak out against it undermines their daughters chinuch (how much respect would you have for your own teachers if your parents badmouthed their decisions).

    I am waiting for a chumra on ben adam l’chavero or kiddush/non-chillul Hashem in relationships with non-frum Jews or gentiles.

    I think girls are people and these things should be up to them.
