62 Percent of Jews in Israel Say Leave Yerushalayim Alone


A poll released by the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies reveals 62% of Israeli Jews oppose any talks that would change the status of Yerushalayim. That said; 59% of respondents believe that the government is already conducting talks on Yerushalayim with the Palestinian Authority.

71% remain opposed to giving control to the PA of Arab neighborhoods of the capital, including both Har HaBayit and the Old City.

The poll was carried out by Ma’agar Mohot, questioning 510 Israeli Jews in March. Margin of error reported to be 4.7%.
