Independent physicians associated with the Maccabi Sheirutei Bri�ut service of the Maccabi HMO have announced they have decided they will not treat violent patients in response to the ever-increasing frequency of attacks against doctors around the country.

In response to the doctors� statement, HMO officials added �we must find a legal way of protecting doctors while adhering to our responsibility to provide medical care to anyone.�
