    There’s Something About Israel
    That Makes People Uncomfortable

There’s something about Israel that makes people uncomfortable,
and it’s not what they say it is.

They’ll point to politics, settlements, borders, and wars.

But scratch beneath the outrage, and you’ll find something deeper.
A discomfort not with what Israel does, but with what Israel is.

A nation this small should not be this strong.
    Period.
Israel has no oil. No special natural resources.
A population barely the size of a mid-sized American city.
    They are surrounded by enemies.
    Hated in the United Nations.
Targeted by terror. Condemned by celebrities.
    Boycotted, slandered, and attacked.
And still, they thrive like there’s no tomorrow.
    In military.
    In medicine.
    In security.
    In technology.
    In agriculture.
    In intelligence.
    In morality.
    In sheer, unbreakable will.

    They turn desert into farmland.
    They make water from air.
    They intercept rockets in mid-air.
They rescue hostages under the nose of the world’s worst regimes.
They survive wars that were supposed to wipe them out, and win.

The world watches this and can’t make sense of it.
So they do what people do when they witness strength they can’t understand.
They assume it must be cheating.

    It must be American aid.
    It must be foreign lobbying.
    It must be oppression.
    It must be theft.
It must be some dark trick that gave the Jews this kind of power.
    It must be blackmail.

Because heaven forbid it’s something else.
    Heaven forbid it’s real.
    Heaven forbid it’s earned.
    Or worse, destined.

The Jewish people were supposed to disappear a long,
long time ago. That’s how the story of exiled,
enslaved, hated minorities is supposed to end.

    But the Jews didn’t disappear.
They actually came home, rebuilt their land,
revived their language, and brought their dead back to life –
in memory, in identity, and in strength.

    That’s not normal.
    It’s not political.
    It’s biblical.

There’s no cheat code that explains how a group of people
return to their homeland after 2,000 years.

There is no rational path from gas chambers to global influence.

And there is no historical precedent for surviving:
the Babylonians, the Romans, the Crusaders,
the Inquisition, the pogroms, and the Holocaust,
and still showing up to work on Monday in Tel Aviv.
    Israel doesn’t make sense.
Unless you believe in something beyond the math.

This is what drives the world crazy.
Because if Israel is real, if this improbable, ancient,
hated nation is somehow still chosen, protected,
and thriving, then maybe G*D isn’t a myth after all.

Maybe He’s still in the story.
    Maybe history isn’t random.
Maybe evil doesn’t get the last word.
Maybe the Jews are not just a people… but a testimony.

    That’s what they can’t stand.

Because once you admit that Israel’s survival
isn’t just impressive, but divine, everything changes.
Your moral compass has to reset.
Your assumptions about history, power, and justice collapse.
You realize you’re not watching the end of an empire.
You’re witnessing the beginning of something eternal.

    So they deny it.
    They smear it.
    And rage against it.

Because it’s easier to call a miracle “cheating” than
to face the possibility that G*D keeps His promises.
    And He’s keeping them still.

    PERSONAL COMMENT:

The return of Jews to the Land of Israel is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.
This implies that The Bible [Tanach] is truth.

But if The Bible [Tanach] is truth, then that implies that the Koran is false.

Every day that Jews continue to live in the Land of Israel
causes Muslims to have doubts about the Koran and Islam.
    That infuriates them.

The fact that Israel enjoys so many big successes causes
Muslims to have even bigger doubts about the Koran and Islam.
    That infuriates them even more.

I do not feel sorry for Muslims, because they persecuted Jews
relentlessly for more than 1,400 years, including:
    terrorism, kidnappings, beatings, false accusations,
    confiscations, rapes, murders and torture.

of Rabbi Moshe Sherer, chapter 22, page 547, footnote 9:

When Rabbi Porush conveyed these sentiments to
Rabbi [Elazar] Shach, the latter responded,
“We must pray for the health of [Prime Minister Menachem] Begin.

Please phone [Prime Minister Menachem] Begin immediately
and tell him that I [Rabbi Elazar Shach] pray for him constantly
    .”

    PERSONAL COMMENT:

This short quote proves that Rabbi Elazar Shach ZTL ZYA prayed
for Israel’s Prime Minister: Mr. Menachem Begin, “constantly”,
even though Mr. Menachem Begin was the leader of a secular Zionist state!

“Such a committee of investigation would have served
as a ploy to unseat Prime Minister Menachem Begin,
for whom both the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah
of America and that of Eretz Yisrael had great respect.”

    PERSONAL COMMENT:

This short quote proves that the Gedolim had
“great respect” for Israel’s Prime Minister: Mr. Menachem Begin,

Why is us living in eretz yisrael a disproof to the Quran any more then us not living in eretz yisrael until 1948 wasn’t a disproof to the Torah

    More Zionist nonsense and lies.
“There is no rational path from gas chambers to global influence.”
That’s true. Except, in this case, the Zionists already had global influence long before the gas chambers (which they both caused and contributed to Jews being murdered in those).

“Israel” is not an “ancient race” nor is it any of that other nonsense. It is an imposter “State” pretending to represent Jews while simultaneously committed to destroying Judaism and Jews and replacing those with Zionism and Zionists.

Regarding your personal comment, obviously, the “return” of Jews to the holy land in a manner that was and is against the will of G-d, is obviously not the fulfillment of any biblical prophecy of “returning to the land”. That discusses when Mashiach comes, of course.

Artscroll fantasies about the Zionists do make for nice reading material. But that’s also nonsense. Did they pray for him? Could be; he was a Jew, shmaded by Zionists as a child, after all. Did that mean that they endorsed anything about him and his “State”? Obviously not. Did they “respect him”? They also respected the Pope (and other world leaders). Hallalu ovdei A”Z vaHallalu ovdei A”Z.

    @square_root
why do you push kefira? from a Torah perspective, there is nothing Great about the zionist regime! there is nothing Jewish about the zionist regime!
it certainly is NOT the fulfillment of any good prophesy.

The zionist state is the greatest chilil Hashem in our history, as you very well highlighted in this disgusting article. It shows loud and clear the Zionist disgraceful claim that what makes the Jewish people “great” is our military, medicine, security, technology, agriculture, intelligence, etc! In that evil worldview, what makes Jews great are that we are the greatest goyim! the most goyish of them all! look at all our science! look at all our money! look at all our guns!

That claim would make any erliche Jew want to throw up!

coffee addict: the answer is simple. the koran said that the jews sinned and will never come back. the torah said one day the jews will come back. until 1948 the jews can claim that the prophesy was still coming but after 1948 the koran is proven wrong since the jews came back when the koran said they never will.

    @besalel
the jews haven’t “come back” to eretz yisroel, rather they never left.
if you mean “come back” to mean melech hamoshiach and rebuilding the Temple, he hasn’t come yet.

For Muslims, religious truths are not decided by logic.

They are decided by military conquest,
    when Muslims conquer non-Muslims.

When Muslims suffer military defeats from non-Muslims,
it is not merely a military problem; is is a theological problem,
it is a religious problem, is is a problem of religious faith.

    Besalel,

Thanks for enlightening me to what the Quran says (I’ve never looked inside one) but doesnt it say also that “a rock will say a Jew is hiding behind me” or something like that? Isnt that talking about in Israel?

    HaKatan:

Mr. Menachem Begin (Israel’s Prime Minister),
was SHOMER SHABBAT (at least partially),
    and he studied Tanach often.

He would walk to meetings on Shabbat,
instead of driving a car, which is prohibited on Shabbat.

somejewiknow: what are you talking about? until the last 150 years or so 95%+ of the Jews lived outside of Israel. Now, we probably have a majority of Halachic Jews living in Israel. There are currently 7 million+ Jews in Israel. In 1517 there were fewer than 5,000. I have heard some outlandish claims but to claim the Jews did not come back to Israel may be the most. Sure, there were always some Jews in Israel but the Jews were exiled and have now returned. That is a basic fact.
