U.S., Iran Set For First Direct Nuclear Talks In A Year, Report Says

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi are expected to meet in Istanbul on Friday to discuss a potential nuclear agreement, Axios reports.

The planned talks would represent the first direct engagement between U.S. and Iranian officials since negotiations collapsed last year and follow recent mediation efforts by Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar.
