Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei says recent developments that “made the news in recent days” were the result of “several weeks of discussions through a Pakistani mediator,” adding that “some other countries also made commendable efforts during this time.”

Baghaei says it is “correct to say that we reached a conclusion on a significant portion of the topics under discussion,” but stressed that “to say that this means the signing of an imminent agreement is something no one can claim.”
